Nanette A. McCarthy

For more than ten years, Nanette A. McCarthy has focused solely on family and domestic relations law. As a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, she is a member of a select group of highly skilled and talented matrimonial attorneys. Ms. McCarthy has in-depth experience with cases involving intricate financial assets and strategies.

She is on the exclusive list of attorneys appointed by Cook County Circuit Court to act as a child’s representative in custody and visitation proceedings. In addition, she
has written numerous briefs in the Appellate Court of Illinois.

Because of her extensive appellate work, she was accepted as a member of the Illinois Appellate Lawyer's Association. Ms. McCarthy also is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She is active on several CBA subcommittees—including the Domestic Violence and Alliance for Women subcommittees—and is a frequent speaker and the author of numerous articles on family and domestic relations law that have appeared in Illinois legal journals.

Ms. McCarthy obtained her juris doctor from DePaul University College of Law and is licensed to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court.
