Griffin & McCarthy, LLP is a downtown Chicago firm with attorneys who concentrate in the area of family law – including divorce, child custody, parentage, prenuptial or postnuptial agreements and adoption.

     Located in the Loop, at Monroe and Dearborn Streets, the law practice was founded in 2003 by Cecilia Hynes Griffin and Nanette A. McCarthy, who are attorneys and partners in the firm. Griffin & McCarthy, LLP now includes four associate attorneys, as well as a paralegal and an extensive support team.

When a case demands it, however, we are very prepared to pursue litigation.”

     Griffin and McCarthy are fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and appointed by the Cook County Circuit Court to act as a child's representative in custody and visitation proceedings. They are trained and certified to practice collaborative law, and are members of the Collaborative Law Institute.
